Roll of the Dice

Roll of the Dice” is a short story about me, well its more about my eye condition, called Choroiderimia or CHM, and the trials and tribulations of what we call a Disability. Fear not, me being me, it ain’t heavy, which also reflects my way of dealing with vision lose.

The story appeared in the final July edition of Soundtracks, a Guide Dogs audio publication that had run for 25 years. BIG fan of Guide Dogs NSW/ACT, from personal experience they have helped allot of people in a very personal way and not just with guide dogs as such but in mobility training with white cains and much more.

If you would like to know more about CHM or support the great work of the Choroiderimia Research Foundation, which is funding gene therapy trials, visit them at:

Flash Fiction

Latest Flash Fiction story, A strange discombobulation,  appeared in the July 2016 edition of Quantum Muse. Whats a Flash fiction I hear you say? It depends on the mag but generally they are stories that fall between 500 to 1,500 words in length and usually form part a Mags story line up, although some mags like Antipodean SF and flash Fiction online host only this shorter form. They make for a quick read, which is also easier on the eyes when using tablets etc.

The bulk of my stories to date are Flash although I have submitted a 1,600 word SiFi to a certain Mag, fingers crossed and Im working on another of similar length for a comp.
